While the new Electra can be produced locally, there is an even bigger chance that the production will happen in Asia before being imported to the US. We should consider the cost of producing these cars including raw materials and labor costs, it is common knowledge that Asia; mainly China, has cheaper labor costs compared to other countries. If Buick wants to cut down on their expenses then the best course of action would be to manufacture the cars in Asia. The Electra E5, Buick's first electric car, will go on sale in late 2024. Even while we know the North American version will be manufactured in China for the Chinese domestic market, there is still uncertainty over whether it will be imported from Asia or produced locally.

Did they confirm if there's frunk? Looks like there isn't.I haven't read any confirmation yet but I'm guessing there'll be no frunk because neither the Lyriq nor the Blazer EV have one.
The styling looks like a Q5 though. GM, I noticed, likes to make beautiful vaporware.
